Getting Started

GrowthWand is an agent-native marketing co-founder focused on SEO, AI visibility, and campaign execution. This repository currently provides a development scaffold; authentication and external integrations are not implemented yet.

Run the apps

Use Node 24 and pnpm 11. From the repository root:

pnpm install
pnpm dev:web

The web app opens at http://localhost:5173. Start this documentation app separately with pnpm dev:docs at http://localhost:4322. The marketing app uses port 4321, and pnpm dev:mcp serves a transport health check at http://localhost:3001/healthz.

Connect the backend

Follow docs/runbooks/convex-self-hosted.md in the repository to start the local Docker backend with Postgres, or configure a separate Railway staging deployment. Copy apps/web/.env.example to apps/web/.env.local, set VITE_CONVEX_URL, and deploy the public health query before restarting Vite.

Deployment/admin credentials belong only in packages/backend/.env.local. They must never be placed in a VITE_* variable or committed.

Check your changes

Run pnpm lint, pnpm typecheck, pnpm test, and pnpm build from the root. A successful static build does not establish that Convex or an external integration works.
